4. User Registration and Authentication

• 4.1 To use GeekPlatz, you must register for an account using your Google account.
• 4.2 We use Google's OAuth service for authentication. By registering, you agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• 4.3 We do not store your Google password. Access to your account is managed through Google's authentication system.
• 4.4 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Subscription and Payment

• 5.1 We offer two payment options: a yearly subscription and a one-time lifetime payment.

• 5.7 For yearly subscriptions, we may automatically renew your subscription at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it.

6. License to Use

• 6.1 Upon payment, Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GeekPlatz services.
• 6.2 GeekPlatz retains the right to terminate this license at any time, without conditions or prerequisites, at its sole discretion.
• 6.3 Upon termination of the license, User access to the Service will be immediately revoked.

7. User Responsibilities

• 7.1 You agree to use GeekPlatz for lawful purposes only and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• 7.2 You are solely responsible for the Content you publish on your CV-style website.
• 7.3 You agree not to use the Service to:
• a) Upload any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• b) Impersonate any person or entity.
• c) Upload any Content that infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
• d) Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

• 8.1 All content, features, and functionality of GeekPlatz, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of GeekPlatz and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• 8.2 Users retain ownership of the Content they upload to their CV-style websites.
• 8.3 By uploading Content, Users grant GeekPlatz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the Content solely for the purpose of providing and promoting the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

• 9.1 GeekPlatz shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the Service.
• 9.2 In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service.
• 9.3 We are not responsible for any issues, errors, or losses related to the authentication services provided by Google or the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
• 9.4 You acknowledge and agree that we have no control over, and no duty to take any action regarding:
• a) Which users gain access to the Service through Google authentication;
• b) What actions you may take in relation to your Google account;
• c) How Stripe may handle your payment information or process your payments.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GeekPlatz and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
